Happy Birthday Star!

Star Susie Hand thought she was going out for a quiet birthday dinner with her husband Ivan, but upon entering Fernando’s in Sugar Land on a recent Friday night, she was surprised by nearly 200 of her closest friends! It was a fabulous evening celebrating the birthday girl with great food, drinks, a photo booth and a DJ spinning all of Star’s favorite songs while she and all of her friends danced the night away.

Jack And Jill Of America Foundation Gala

You can bet your last dollar (and many generous guests did) that The 2017 Sugar Land Chapter Biennial Foundation Fundraiser “Deals, Dice, Jazz… An Evening of Pizzazz Casino Night”  to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Richmond and Rosenberg and the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc. was a huge success. The Safari Texas Ranch Ballroom in Richmond was transformed into a Las Vegas style casino, where SLCJJ members and guests bet thousands of dollars on the academic and career success of Fort Bend County’s youth.  No doubt, Jack and Jill of America Inc. Foundation takes fundraising seriously, as distinguished guest and Past National Program Director, Gladys Henderson and Regional Treasurer, L’Sheryl Hudson joined SLCJJ’s President, Tamara Davidson’s philanthropic efforts.
