Reading Between the Wines

The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County held its third annual Reading between the Wines event recently at Safari Texas Ranch. Presented by Classic Chevrolet Sugar Land and Safari Texas Ranch and co-chaired by Dana Sitton and Bonnie Stewart, the evening was a great success. Guests were able to listen to captivating authors, taste dishes from local restaurants and chefs and participate in a lively auction. Overall the event raised more than $103,000 for literacy
programs and services.

Fort Bend Cares Road Trip

Over 530 enthusiastic attendees shifted into high gear for the Fort Bend Cares Road Trip through the “French Countryside” presented by Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital and Spectra Specialty. The event was a huge success, yielding over $200,000 to fuel non-profit organizations that serve disadvantaged children and youth in Fort Bend County.

Fort Bend Education Foundation Gala

Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins and Mott LLP presented the Moonlight Masquerade in Venice Gala benefiting the Fort Bend Education Foundation at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square. More than 800 masked marauders enjoyed “una bella notte,” bidding on auction items, dining on “favolosa” food and dancing to the music of Password.
